Trico Marine Group

General Information

On August 25, 2010, Trico Marine Services, Inc., Trico Marine Assets, Inc., Trico Marine Operators, Inc., Trico Marine International, Inc., Trico Marine Cayman, L.P., and Trico Holdco, LLC (collectively, the "Debtors") filed petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware seeking relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. The Debtors cases have been assigned to Judge Brendan Linehan Shannon. The Debtors are seeking to have their cases jointly administered for procedural purposes, meaning that upon entry of such an order all pleadings will be maintained on the case docket for Trico Marine Services, Inc., Case No. 10-12653 (the “Main Case Docket”). On September 7, 2010, the United States Trustee for the District of Delaware (the "U.S. Trustee") held a meeting to form a committee to represent the interests of all unsecured creditors in these Chapter 11 Cases. On September 8, 2010, the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (the “Committee”) was appointed by the Office of the United States Trustee for the District of Delaware (the “US Trustee”). The newly appointed Committee elected to retain Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman LLP and Pachulski, Stang, Ziehl & Jones LLP to advise and represent the Committee in these bankruptcy cases. By order of the Court dated October 5, 2010, the employment of Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman LLP was approved nunc pro tunc to September 7, 2010. By a separate order of the Court dated October 12, 2010, the employment of Pachulski, Stang, Ziehl & Jones LLP was approved nunc pro tunc to September 7, 2010.
