General Information
On September 14, 2005, Northwest Air Lines Corporation., and thirteen (13) affiliated companies (collectively, the “
Reorganized Debtors”) filed petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the “Court”) seeking relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. On May 18, 2007, the Reorganized Debtors’ First Amended Joint and Consolidated Plan of Reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code was confirmed by the Court and became effective on May 31, 2007. On March 31, 2011, the Court entered an Order (I) Closing Remaining Chapter 11 Cases; (II) Discharging and Releasing Epiq from Further Duties as Court Appointed Claims Agent; (III) Disbanding the Post-Effective Date Committee; (IV) Authorizing One Final Distribution; (V) Limiting Further Notice and Filings; and (VI) Discontinuing U.S. Trustee Fees. These cases were jointly administered for procedural purposes, meaning that all pleadings filed in these cases will be reflected on case docket 05-17930 (“Main Case Docket”).
