General Information

On November 26, 2008, LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. and LandAmerica 1031 Exchange Services, Inc. filed petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia seeking relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. Subsequently, eight additional affiliates (together with LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. and LandAmerica 1031 Exchange Services, Inc., the “Debtors”) filed petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia seeking relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. The Debtors' cases have been assigned to Judge Kevin R. Huennekens. These cases are being jointly administered for procedural purposes, meaning that all pleadings filed in these cases will be reflected on case docket 08-35994 (the “Main Case Docket”). In addition, the Court has established May 26, 2009 at 4:00 pm prevailing Eastern Time as the Governmental Unit Bar Date.

Pursuant to Docket #1305, the United States Bankruptcy Court has established May 18, 2009 at 4:00 pm prevailing Eastern Time as the deadline to file proofs of claim against LandAmerica Assessment Corporation. In addition, the Court has established September 3, 2009 at 4:00 pm prevailing Eastern Time as the Governmental Unit Bar Date.

Pursuant to Docket #1648, the United States Bankruptcy Court has established July 20, 2009 at 4:00 pm prevailing Eastern Time as the deadline to file proofs of claim against LandAmerica Title Company, Southland Title Corporation, Southland Title of Orange County, and Southland Title of San Diego. In addition, the Court has established September 23, 2009 at 4:00 pm prevailing Eastern Time as the Governmental Unit Bar Date for LandAmerica Title Company and September 28, 2009 at 4:00 pm prevailing Eastern Time as the Governmental Unit Bar Date for Southland Title Corporation, Southland Title of Orange County, and Southland Title of San Diego.
