General Information

On April 6, 2011, 4Kids Entertainment, Inc. and eleven (11) affiliated companies (collectively, the “Debtors”) filed petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York seeking relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. The Debtors’ cases have been assigned to Judge Shelley C. Chapman. These cases are being jointly administered for procedural purposes, meaning that all pleadings filed in these cases will be reflected on case docket for 4Kids Entertainment, Inc., Case No. 11-11607 (the "Main Case Docket"). Sale of Debtors Yu-Gi-Oh!-and CW Network-Related Assets

On April 17, 2012, the Debtors filed with the Court a motion to approve a sale of the Debtors' Yu-Gi-Oh! related assets and certain other assets, which are defined as the "Purchased Assets" in the APA with Kidsco Media Ventures LLC or any other successful bidder(s). The Assets are to be sold, free and clear of all liens, claims, encumbrances and other interests pursuant to section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Debtors also seek to assume and assign to the successful bidder(s) certain executory contracts and unexpired leases pursuant to section 365 of the Bankruptcy Code.
