General Information
On May 4, 2009, Filene’s Basement, Inc.(n/k/a FB Liquidating Estate), and two(2) related companies (collectively, the “Debtors”) filed petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware seeking relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. The Debtors’ cases have been assigned to Judge Mary F. Walrath. These cases are being jointly administered for procedural purposes, meaning that all pleadings will be maintained on the case docket for Filene’s Basement, Inc.(n/k/a FB Liquidating Estate), Case No. 09-11525 (the "Main Case Docket"). On May 4, 2009, the Debtors filed certain motions with the Court seeking, among other things, (i) approval of sale procedures with respect to a proposed sale to Crown FB LLC ("Crown"), (ii) approval of the sale of assets to Crown (the "Crown Sale"), and (iii) approval of the sale procedures and of the sale of assets relating to assets not included in the Crown Sale (the "Non-Crown Sale").
